Please note.  When applying online, to complete the application process, you must submit a check within 5 days or you application will be voided.  Also, with your check, you must send a signed and dated agreement form, a photo of the vehicle, photo of food served, full menu and prices, and proof of insurance. Food Vendor Guidelines

  • Milford Memories will be held August 11, 12 & 13, 2023 regardless of weather conditions. A fully executed application, including all required documents and food vendor fees must be received by Milford Memories Summer Festival by May 1, 2023.
  • You will receive written notification of your application status by May 25, 2023. If your application is not accepted, you will receive written notification and your check will be returned.
  • All food vendors must display a valid Oakland County Health Department permit. Failure to supply health permit can result in termination without refund. Oakland County Health Dept. will be on-site for inspections as well. Oakland County Health Dept. Can be reached at 248-424-7190 regarding any Health Dept. Questions.
  • Along with this application you must provide a valid certificate of liability insurance, naming Milford Memories Summer Festival and The Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce as additional insured, minimum of $100,000.
  • Vendor must provide a menu with pricing, a food picture if available and a picture of the concession unit coming to Milford Memories. Any food or concession items not detailed in menu will not be permitted to be sold during the festival.
  • Milford Memories Summer Festival will assign your location. Past participation does not guarantee future space. Once assigned, location movement will not be permitted. You must setup within the allotted time period only. Vendors must park in the designated areas only.
  • Milford Memories Summer Festival does not guarantee exclusivity of menu items sold at the festival.
  • Vendors must be open for business from the start of the art show, until closing time each day. Vendors may choose to stay open later to accommodate Beer Tent traffic on Friday and Saturday
    night.
  • Vendor will supply proper power cords, subject to the Milford Memories electrician’s approval. You will be responsible for all electrical cords leaving your unit, covering them securely with electrical tape. All generators used or needed must be noted on your application and must be able to meet Milford Memories Generator specifications.
  • Vendors will supply proper sanitary marine hose in good, non-leaking conditions, connections and valves. Approximate length is 150 feet. Vendors will be responsible for all waste water. Water must be contained, and cannot create any outside accumulation.
  • All heat elements must be located out of reach of public.
  • Village of Milford Fire Department will be on-site to inspect each and every concession unit/booth/tent and its area for Fire Safety. You are required to ensure your unit/booth/tent meets all fire safety codes. Milford Fire Department can be reached at 248-684-2335.
  • Vendor will keep their location and surrounding area clean and free of litter. Milford Memories will not tolerate dumping of any kind, except into the dumpsites provided.
  • Vendors must immediately notify Milford Memories staff of any injuries or accidents to persons or property during the vent.
  • Consumption or promotion of alcoholic beverages, foul language, posing a threat to the safety and welfare of attendees or the violation of any state rules or actions deemed inappropriate by Milford Memories will be cause for immediate removal from the premises and denial of future participation.
  • Milford Memories Summer Festival, The Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce, its sponsors, members and participants assume no liability for loss or damage to vendor’s wares or property. Every precaution will be taken to guard against loss, or damage, but the vendor hereby waives any claim for loss or damage to his/her property.
  • Milford Memories Summer Festival may at any time cancel the rights granted to vendor in the event that the vendor breaches this agreement, or fails to abide by all rules and regulations instated by Milford Memories. This includes revoking the ability to set-up and no refund of food vendor fee.
  • Vendor agrees that this agreement is not transferable and may not be assigned to another party. Vendor must have an authorized representative at their concession at all times during the festival.
  • Vendor further agrees that they will comply with all laws, rules, regulation and ordinances of all
    governmental agencies and all other authorities having jurisdiction at the event.
  • Vendor shall pay all sales taxes or any other tax required by the city, state or federal taxing
    authority.
  • Hold Harmless. With the signing of this contract all vendors agree to hold harmless and indemnify the Milford Memories Summer Festival, Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce and its officers, board of directors and agents from any cause or action whatsoever for any damage to, with respect to person or property, and agree to assume full responsibility for the same.
  • Vendor must be open for business during Art Show Hours.
