Non-Profit Groups

The 2022 Milford Memories Non-Profit Groups include the following:

United Veterans of Michigan

UVM was founded in 2019 to help our national heroes enjoy the great outdoors. Since forming we have taken over 100 Veterans, Active Duty, Gold and Blue Star family members on fishing and hunting excursions at no expense to them. We are a local 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit where 100% of your donation goes to benefit our Veterans suffering from emotional, financial or physical difficulties. With your help we can reach more service men and women, stop by to say HI.

Milford Rotary Foundation

Welcome to Milford Memories and to Milford, Michigan!  We are very proud of our town and love to show it off.  As members of the Milford Rotary Club, we are a part of an international network of like-minded community leaders and "people of action" that focus on making our world/country/community a better place.  We would love to tell you more about that at our table…. But more importantly, we want to help YOU protect your little ones while you are here at our amazing festival.  Stop by our table and we will give you a wristband for your child that you can write your cell number on.  If they do get lost, anyone with a phone can call you and help you reunite.  This is our service to you and again Welcome to Milford!

Stronger Warrior Foundation

The Stronger Warrior Foundation's mission is to keep active, retired, and the families of United States service members strong financially, mentally, and physically. We will honor this through our three distinct programs; the Hardship Program, Scholarship Fund, and Sponsor a Warrior. The Hardship Program's main purpose is to help those service members that have been wounded or have suffered disabilities from combat related services. The Stronger Warrior Scholarship Fund is dedicated to helping active and retired service members, and spouses or children of deceased service members obtain an education through college or a trade school. The Sponsor a Warrior Program is built around the premise of sending care packages to active duty or reserve service members who are deployed.

MI Abilities

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our special needs community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data driven models, we provide solutions that make a long-lasting difference. Come visit our retail store in the Chamber office building.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9914

Our goal is to provide an inviting place for our members where they can freely discuss VFW and veterans’ issues. We understand first-hand the essence of rallying community support and the positive, life-changing impact we have on the world around us. That's why VFW members volunteer more than 9 million hours to community service projects annually, with volunteerism benefiting morale, education, the environment, health sciences and civic projects.

Huron Valley American Veterans Post 2006

"Have Fun, Do Good" is the motto of the Huron Valley American Veterans, Post 2006. Fifteen of our members are on the Honor Guard Funeral Team. They fold the flag and present, fire three rifle volleys and play taps. Eighteen of our member are on the Color Guard Team. They lead parades, open sports events, attend grad openings, and visit our Huron Valley Schools during Veterans Week. They intermingle with both the children and their parents in our area sharing stories and answering questions.

These groups will be on site for the entire festival to show off their groups and collect donations to help support their causes. Please help support the causes of our Non-Profit groups! We thank you for your support!
